(a) In addition to the reasons set forth in section 86-42, when the director has reasonable grounds to believe that a retail fireworks licensee has sold, offered for sale, exposed for sale, or has in the licensee's possession with the intent to offer for sale any fireworks other than permissible fireworks the director may summarily suspend the license without notice pending a public hearing for the suspension or revocation of the license. No summary suspension of a retail fireworks license without notice shall be for a period not to exceed 15 days.

(b) The director has the authority to suspend or revoke a retail fireworks license for any violation of the city code. (Ord. No. 2017-09, § 1, 2-27-2017)
