(a) It shall be unlawful for any person to park a motor vehicle upon any roadway or upon the property of another for the principal purpose of displaying such vehicle for sale.

(b) For the purposes of this section, it shall be an exception that the vehicle was lawfully parked on property properly zoned, utilized, and licensed for the sale of motor vehicles. (Code 1979, § 37-2.5; Ord. No. 2001-16, § 1, 4-2-2001)
