A person 18 years of age or older commits an offense when, upon command by a person known to him or her to be a peace officer, he or she unreasonably refuses or fails to aid the peace officer in effecting or securing an arrest. (Code 1979, § 27-17; Ord. No. 95-52, exhibit A (§ 27-17), 9-11-1995)
