All operators of emergency vehicles from municipal fire departments, volunteer fire departments, fire protection districts, and private/government ambulance companies shall immediately give route and destination notification to the Aurora Fire Department Communication Center upon activation of any audible or visual emergency signal equipment within the jurisdictional boundaries of the City. For purposes of this section, "emergency vehicles" shall mean any vehicle designated by the Colorado Motor Vehicle Licensing Agency as an authorized emergency vehicle pursuant to 42-4-108, C.R.S.
