The administrative office of the courts will be headed by a court administrator appointed by and serving at the pleasure of the city council. The court administrator's annual salary and benefits shall be established by the city council in a fashion similar to the other city officers. The court administrator shall have professionally trained and experienced deputies, assistants, and staff as provided through the budget process in order to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the administrative office of the court.
