Every person conducting any lodging of less than 30 days for consideration within the city shall at all times keep and maintain a standard hotel register in which shall be kept the name, home street, and town address of every person purchasing or occupying any room, rooms or other accommodations. If such guest has an automobile, there shall also be kept a record of the license plate number, the make, body style, and year of such automobile. Every person conducting any such lodging shall be required to maintain and preserve all records of registration for a period of three years. (Code 1979, § 19-37; Ord. No. 2016-64, § 1, 12-5-2016)
