The fine or penalty specified in the automated vehicle identification system penalty assessment notice may be paid on or before the penalty assessment notice due date through the United States Postal Service by first class mail to an address specified on the penalty assessment notice, through a website portal, or drop box. Acceptance of a penalty assessment notice and payment of the prescribed penalty and costs, if any, to the city cashier through one of the methods specified on the penalty assessment notice shall be deemed a judgment and satisfaction of the judgment for the violation.
