Under this article, during the time that any member is receiving any type of pension from either the board or the retirement association, the member shall not be entitled to a refund of any of his or her previous contributions to the fund. If a member is receiving a benefit from the retirement association, he or she shall not be eligible for any benefits in this article. (Code 1979, § 15-128)
