(a) Installation permits. A unit shall not be installed or occupied in a manufactured housing park without first obtaining a permit from the City. A separate permit shall be required for each unit installation. This permit inspection shall include the anchorage system, water, gas and sewer connections, compliance with space and setback requirements in section 90-34, skirting requirements in section 90-75, and, the electrical connection. The fee for this permit shall be as set forth in the approved schedule of fees.

(b) Anchorage inspections. The anchorage system and building service connections inspections will be made after the home has been anchored and all service connections completed.

(c) Certificates of occupancy. No certificate of occupancy is required for installations made in accordance with this division. However, no manufactured home shall be occupied or used until the appropriate inspections are made, it is found that the installation complies with the provisions of this division and other appropriate portions of this Code including but not limited to space, setback, and skirting requirements, and a valid permit has been issued.

(d) Accessory structures. Accessory buildings or structures shall not be constructed without first obtaining the appropriate permits from the City. Separate permits are required for structural, electrical, plumbing and mechanical work performed in conjunction with the construction of accessory buildings or structures. Permit issuance and fees therefor shall be in conformance with the provisions of chapter 22 of this Code which are applicable to the types of work involved.

(e) Building code application. The following sections of the building code, or their successor provision(s), as adopted in section 22-131 and as amended by article IV of chapter 22 of this Code, shall apply to manufactured homes:

(1) Section 104.2.4, Stop Orders (City Code section 22-151).

(2) Section 107.5, Investigation Fees (City Code section 22-153).

(3) Section 108.5, Required Inspections.

(4) Section 103, Violations (City Code section 22-149).

(5) Section 108.8, Reinspections.
