(a) Prior to the issuance of any escort bureau license, escort license, or escort bureau runner license, each license application shall be submitted to the police department for review. The police department shall provide information as to whether the applicant and each of the individuals required to be listed in the license application have been convicted of any criminal act. Such review shall be completed within 45 days after the application is submitted to the police department.

(b) The police department shall only be required to provide the information specified in subsection (a) of this section and shall not be required to approve or disapprove the license application. (Ord. No. 98-86, § 14, 11-30-1998)
