(a) Each after-hours club or teen club licensee shall be sent a renewal notice by the licensing administrator no less than 60 days prior to the expiration date of his or her license. As a prerequisite to the renewal of such license, each licensee is required to file an application for renewal to the licensing administrator not less than 45 days prior to the date of expiration of the current license. Such application shall contain such information as is required by section 86-29 and subsections (a)(1) through (7) of section 86-498.

(b) Upon motion of the licensing administrator or upon complaint, the director may cause a hearing to be held on the renewal application. No such hearing shall be held until notice thereof has been provided to the applicant and conspicuously posted on the exterior of the licensed premises and published in a newspaper of general circulation in the City at least ten days prior to the scheduled hearing date.

(c) Prior to any renewal hearing, the police department shall provide to the director a report detailing any violation of federal, state, or local laws which have occurred on the licensed premises or in the areas immediately surrounding such premises, including the parking lot or any vacant land adjacent to the licensed premises, within the previous 12-month period.
