When any nuisance is of such a nature or character so as to represent an imminent danger of physical injury to any person, the chief of police shall bring such circumstances to the attention of the municipal court. Any judge of the municipal court, having been presented with such facts so as to indicate the existence of imminent danger of physical injury to any person, shall order the police department to take immediate corrective action to protect the public until the earliest time that the matter can be brought fully before the court.
