(a) There is imposed a monthly emergency telephone surcharge of $1.20 per exchange access facility or wireless communications access on telephone service and telecommunications service via wireless carrier within the City. Any person who supplies telephone service or telecommunications service via wireless carrier within the city shall collect the surcharge and submit the surcharge to the City as provided for by C.R.S. §§ 29-11-102 and 29-11-103, as amended.

(b) All proceeds from the surcharge shall be credited to a special fund kept apart from the general fund in accordance with C.R.S. § 29-11-104, as amended. (Code 1979, § 36-116; Ord.
