The art in public places commission shall have the authority to select artwork for display, remove artwork previously displayed, promulgate criteria for selection of artwork and artists, arrange for funding and take any other action necessary to carry out its purposes for projects under $50,000.00 and shall serve as advisory for projects over $50,000.00 pursuant to section 34-131.
