Sec. 2-461. Report of seizures.

It shall be the duty of every police officer to properly catalogue and cause to be stored all property seized or found by the officer or otherwise delivered to the officer during the course of the officer's duties, immediately after the property shall have come into the officer's possession or as soon thereafter as reasonably practicable.
