(a) Prior to the granting of any license, the forestry division of the parks and open space department shall require the filing with the division an insurance policy with coverage for personal injury and property damage in amounts of not less than $150,000.00 for each person, $500,000.00 for property damage, and $500,000.00 each incident.

(b) Whenever any person has filed with the division evidence of insurance, as required in subsection (a) of this section, any additional or subsequent license holder in the employ of such initial person shall not be required to deposit or file any additional evidence of insurance.

(c) No license shall be issued until such time as the applicant for the license files with the forestry division a certificate of workman's compensation insurance satisfying the Statutes of the State of Colorado and cannot be cancelled without 30 days' notice to the forestry division. At any time the forestry division receives notice of proposed cancellation of insurance, the forestry division shall immediately notify the holder of the license that, unless the holder of the license can satisfy the forestry division that an appropriate insurance policy as required by this section has been obtained to replace the policy being cancelled, the license is cancelled and the holder of the license shall do no further work until such time as adequate insurance is provided.
