Sec. 22-673. Certificate of insurance required.
This section is included in your selections.
(a) Prior to the issuance of a moving contractor's license, the applicant shall furnish a certificate of insurance, with corporate surety authorized to do business in the state, for public liability and property damage in not less than as follows:
(1) For death or injury to any one person, $150,000.00.
(2) Total liability in any one accident, $400,000.00.
(3) Property damage, $100,000.00.
(b) The insurance required in subsection (a) of this section shall cover the liability of the mover with respect to all work performed by him or her or his or her agents, servants or employees and to save harmless and indemnify the city from liability arising out of the moving of any building or structure.
