Sec. 22-332. Vent extension through roof.

Section 903.1.1 of the IPC is hereby deleted in its entirety and amended to read as follows:
903.1.1 Roof extension unprotected.
All open vent pipes which extend through a roof shall be terminated not less than 6 inches above the roof or 6 inches above the anticipated snow accumulation, except that where a roof is to be used for any purpose other than weather protection, the vent extensions shall be run at least 7 feet above the roof.
