The International Energy Conservation Code, 2021 Edition, first printing, January 29, 2021, published by the International Code Council, Inc., is hereby adopted with the amendments as noted in this article and as may be made from time to time. The International Energy Conservation Code is designed to achieve the effective use of energy and not less than three copies of each code are on file at the offices of the city clerk, the city attorney, and the chief building official, and open to inspection by the public at reasonable times. Where the abbreviation "IECC" appears in this article, this shall mean the International Energy Conservation Code, 2021 Edition.

Section C101.1 of the energy code adopted in this section is deleted in its entirety and amended to read as follows:

This code shall be known as the Energy Conservation Code of the City of Aurora and shall be cited as such. It is referred to herein as "this code."
