Part VIII Electrical, including Chapters 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42 and 43 of the IRC adopted in section 22-181 are deleted in their entirety. The provisions of the National Electrical Code, sponsored by the National Fire Protection Association, Quincy, Massachusetts, edition as adopted by the State of Colorado, shall govern all of the electrical provisions of the residential building code as adopted in section 22-181.
