Section 309.1 of the IBC adopted in section 22-131 is amended by adding the following:
Retail marijuana stores will be classified for plan review, permitting and inspection purposes as an occupancy classification (M) mercantile occupancy and required to meet IBC chapter 3 requirements based upon the use and occupancy classification requirements of IBC section 309.1.
