In carrying out its purpose, the commission shall be cognizant of its role in working with other organizations whose focus is on youth, or who are willing to assist the city with youth in mind. The commission can initiate, sponsor, or conduct, in cooperation with other public or private organizations, programs to further the development and public awareness of and interest in youth. (Ord.
