(a) The commission shall issue an annual formal report to council. Other reports to the city council, city manager, or department director shall be made as requested of them from time to time. The commission shall, at its discretion, be authorized to prepare and issue a report as requested by an individual council member. Upon a majority vote of the commission, the commission shall be authorized to prepare and issue an unsolicited report to the city council, the city manager, or department.

(b) All reports or recommendations made by the commission shall be advisory only to the city council, the city manager, or the department director and shall be presented by the chairperson or designee of the commission and shall consist of a majority report. (Ord. No. 2000-07, § 1, 2-14-2000)
