Sec. 2-877. Functions and duties.

The Aurora Immigrant and Refugee Commission shall serve the following functions and duties:
(a) Advise the city council on issues of common concern to the immigrants and refugee communities.
(b) Support city efforts in the area of immigrant integration.
(c) Work with the Office of International and Immigrant Affairs in the development and implementation of the comprehensive strategic plan.
(d) Promote recognition of the contributions of the foreign-born to the economic and cultural vitality of Aurora. (Ord. No. 2016-24, § 2, 7-11-2016)
