Any animal owner whose animal, whether or not running at large, destroys, damages or injures any shrubbery, plants, flowers, grass, lawn, fence or anything whatsoever upon any public property or upon any private property shall be in violation of this section. An animal urinating or defecating on the items listed above is not enough to destroy, damage or injure under this section. Any animal running at large struck by a vehicle and causing damage to such vehicle may be charged with violating this section. (Code 1979, § 7-7; Ord. No. 2022-10, § 4, 2-28-2022; Ord.
