(a) Person receiving citation. Any person who receives a parking citation shall respond to such citation as provided in this section within 20 days of the date of the citation by either paying the civil penalty set forth in the citation or requesting a hearing, pursuant to these procedures, to the Aurora parking and traffic bureau.

(b) Vehicle owner. If the owner of a vehicle cited for a parking violation has not responded to the citation within 20 days as provided in this section, the owner shall be subject to the additional penalties as established in this chapter.

(c) Owner liable. The registered owner of a vehicle at the time the violation occurred shall be liable for all unpaid civil penalties. (Ord. No. 2016-34, § 16, 8-8-2016)
