(a) It shall be unlawful to operate an off-highway vehicle unless it has been registered with the state division of parks and outdoor recreation pursuant to state law.

(b) It shall be unlawful to operate an off-highway vehicle unless such vehicle has on it the state vehicle registration number.

(c) It shall be unlawful to operate an off-highway vehicle unless the operator thereof has in his or her possession the state off-highway certificate. (Code 1979, § 37-76; Ord. No. 95-86, exhibit A (§ 37-76), 10-9-1995)
