Inspection of dedicated streets, alleys, avenues and public ways and construction thereon shall be performed by the inspection services and contract administrator or his or her authorized representative to ensure all stated standards and specifications are met. All private sidewalks in both single-family and multi-family housing developments shall comply with adopted city minimum specifications for parking lots, streets and sidewalks. Private installations shall be inspected by the city for compliance prior to acceptance. (Code 1979, §§ 9-5(g))
