The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this division, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

Average residential street means a street determined by the city engineer to be typical of residential street construction in the city which conforms to the local type II street as described in section 126-36.

Corner lot means a lot which abuts two intersecting streets.

Multiple frontage lot means any lot which abuts more than one street whether intersecting or not.

Public improvements means, but not by way of limitation, the improvement, construction, reconstruction, maintenance or removal of highways, streets, alleys, storm drainage facilities, water and sanitary sewer lines, electric, gas, telephone, cable television lines and conduit lines including laterals to each individual lot, building or structure, together with all appurtenances and other incidental work.

Single-family detached dwelling means a building designed for occupancy by one family group.

Two-family detached dwelling means a building designed for occupancy by two separate family groups living independently of each other.

Unimproved street means any street that has not been constructed to city standards or inspected and accepted as such by the City. (Code 1979, § 34-151)
