Under this article, the board shall have the authority to monitor a member's receipt of worker's compensation benefits when the member has been granted either temporary or permanent disability pension benefits by the board. The board shall reduce (offset) any disability benefit to the extent of any amount of worker's compensation benefits received by the member. The member is required to cooperate with the board in providing the board with information regarding the member's status in the context of the member's worker's compensation claim. If so requested, the member shall forthwith provide the board with benefits data in order to calculate the offset. (Code 1979, § 15-101)
