Sec. 1-39. Panel of judges.
This section is included in your selections.
(a) Creation and appointment. There is hereby created an ethics review panel of judges to consist of three members. The purpose of this panel shall be to hear complaints and issue findings and recommendations regarding alleged violations of this article.
(b) Qualifications. The members of the panel shall be three former judicial officers.
(c) Method of appointment. The city clerk's office shall solicit one or more entities to select a panel of three retired judges.
(1) Members shall be appointed once a complaint has been received.
(2) Retired judges are not limited on the number of panels on which they may serve or complaints they may hear. (Ord. No. 2019-51, § 1, 8-19-2019)
