An initiated ordinance shall be published in like manner as other proposed ordinances. The ballot upon which such proposed ordinance is submitted shall state briefly its nature and it shall contain the words, "Yes" and "No." If a majority of the registered electors voting thereon shall vote in favor thereof, the same shall thereupon without further publication become an ordinance of the city.
